Weight Plate Pegs
As you can see in the picture of the product above, there are three pegs at the base. The purpose for these is for you to stack weight plates to secure the stand in place and avoid it from sliding whenever you use it!
Moreover, to have a better stability, Everlast recommends you to put a total of 75 lbs on each peg. However, the weight plates are not included in the product! Which means, you have to purchase them separately.
If you want to purchase, make sure to choose the ones that have a 1-inch diameter slot.
Metal Construction
Hollow metal tubings make up the structure of the stand. It is light enough for you to move it around. But it is also strong enough to be able to hold a heavy bag that weighs up to 100 lbs and support it.

To be honest, synthetic leather is nothing compared to genuine leather. However, because of the advanced technology we have today, both of them are somewhat closer in terms of quality.
You must have an air pump to be able to inflate the speed bag.
Speed Bag Platform
As for the speed bag platform, it is connected to a metal bar in which you can adjust the height according to your preferences.
To do this, you just have to alter the two knobs that keep the platform in place. Moreover, to help you with this process, a grip bar is included.
Heavy Bag and Chain
A heavy bag is also included in the product. It is made of synthetic leather and is a standard pre-filled 100 lbs. heavy bag. You simply need to hang it in place.
Speaking of hanging the heavy bag, a chain will be included which can allow you to raise or lower the height of the heavy bag.
Quality and Durability
The Bags
Even though the bags are made from Everlast's very own synthetic leather which still has a lot of things to improve compared to the genuine leather, they are durable.
However, the speed bag has a tendency to deflate quickly over time, even though you are not using it.
Speed Bag Swivel and Platform
I can't really say that the speed bag swivel is excellent. However, it is ok. You can still upgrade it if you want to.
As for the platform, it is a bit shaky and flimsy. Whenever you punch the speed bag, there is a tendency that it will vibrate and bounce back uncontrollably, leading to destroying your rhythm!
To avoid this, you must hit the speed bag in a way that is parallel to the platform's support beam.
The Stand
Overall, the stand is in good quality and pretty durable. However, the whole frame has thin hollow metal tubing. With that, the long-term durability of the stand may not meet your expectations.
Moreover, whenever you deliver your strikes to the bags, the stand tends to shake a bit. But then again, the metal construction is pretty durable, considering its price.
The shaking issue can be solved by adding weighted plates on the pegs at the base.
Assembly
The Everlast Dual Station Heavy Bag Stand is actually pretty easy to assemble. After all, it was designed to be set up by one person. It also has an easy step-by-step instructions you can follow.
Before you assemble it, make sure that you have all of the pieces completely, including the tools you need. Moreover, you better check each one of them and see if there are damaged ones.
When setting it up, the metal structure requires you to slide the main metal tubing into the base. Doing this, you must make sure that there is enough space and that the ceiling can handle the height of the stand.
If not, then you have to lean the the structure of the base off the ground to be able to perform the assemble properly.
