What are the best boxing shoes for women?
Puma Women’s Tazon 6
The very first running shoes I had in high school were a pair of Puma.
Puma is a well-known sports brand, especially its shoes. They are in existence for more than 30 years now and have been providing quality and affordable sports gear and apparel since then.

With this being said—you know that you only get the best out of its Puma Women’s Tazon 6.
The outsole of the shoes is made of standard rubber compound with urethane in the center. This material provides additional support for the feet during training.
Probably the strongest point of Puma Women’s Tazon 6 is the upper part of the shoes.
It is made of synthetic leather with linings of EcoOrthoLite within. Thus, it makes the shoes more breathable and less prone to bacteria that create an unpleasant odor.
Rival Boxing Boots
The Rival Boxing Boots is a mid-range boxing shoe that’s perfect for women with a somewhat wide feet sizes.

The shoes also provide durability and maximum protection to the wearer during long hours of workouts.
The pair also looks premium, but very affordable.
Venum Elite Boxing Shoes
My first impression upon seeing the Venum Elite Boxing shoes for the first time is its sleek and stylish design that’s pleasing to look at.
But don’t be fooled with its design, because the shoes can help you step your game during training.

It is versatile and decently lightweight that can support your movement as you work with your footwork.
They are also comfortable to use and excellent for long hours of training. It is also very durable that it won’t get worn out that easily—even if you use them regularly.
The only downside of the shoes for me is the price. As perfect as they are, the Venum Elite Boxing Shoes are a little bit pricey.
Adidas Hog 3 Boxing Shoes
The Addidas Hog 3 is an upgrade from its predecessor.
It still maintains the same quality and comfort with several upgrades.
The design comes in five different standard colors—red, black, blue, white, and camouflage green (my personal favorite).

The shoes are lightweight and pleasing to wear. But I feel that the mid-cut of the shoes is a little bulky. This is because of the extra-protection the manufacturer had incorporated.
However, it does not bother me that much because it does offer maximum security by supporting your balance and improving grip as you move around.
Overall, the shoes are recommendable for beginners and seasoned fighters alike.
Title Predator 2
The shoes offer a unique design, though I’m not a fan of the word Title on front.
It has a three-dimensional upper design that supports balance and enhances protection during your training.

The external part of the shoes is made of elastic rubber that provides flexibility during movement.
Title Predator 2 offers four different shoe colors—black, white, blue, and red.
Cleto Reyes Leather Lace-up Boxing Shoes
I love how minimalistic the shoes are, with only the name of the brand is present on its exterior.
It is a high-cut boxing boot to support your balance as you’re improving your footwork.

The shoes are also breathable, which makes it more comfortable to use even during long hours of training.
It has a wide lacing feature. It also has a zipper that’s located on its side, making it easier for the wearer to adjust them and take them off whenever they’re done working out.
Otomix Pink Stingray Escape
The name of the brand sounds kickass—Otomix Pink Stingray Escape. It sounded like a superhero shoe.
As good as the name of the brand is—so as the shoe itself.

It offers maximum grip and balance. And as you may have observed with their design, it is specially made for women.
The Otomix Pink Stingray Escape is comfortable and lightweight. Thus, it makes your training sessions more enjoyable and productive at the same time.
It’s synthetic, and suede material also makes the shoes very durable—making it less prone to worn outs even if you use them regularly and for longer periods.
Reebok Women’s Boxing Boot
The shoes have a high-cut design to protect the wearer for long periods of training. Aside from the protection it provides, the shoes or boots are comfortable to wear.

Overall, the shoes are excellent in terms of grip, breathability, and balance.
Ringside Diablo Wrestling Boxing Shoes
The Ringside Diablo Wrestling Boxing Shoes have a sleek and feminine design.
The shoes are made of the quality and durable materials that make them tough and long-lasting.

This may be the case—the boxing shoes are comfortable nonetheless.
It has a breathable feature of upper nylon and meshes that’s top with a synthetic vinyl leather trim.
The medium low-cut offers outstanding ankle support that allows versatility during your training.
It also provides maximum grip support that prevents any slips from occurring.
Ringside Diablo Wrestling Boxing Shoes offers a variety of colors, including black, pink, blue, and white.
ASICS JB Elite 3
From the first looks of it, the shoes resemble regular rubber shoes used for Basketball. But the shoes are actually good for boxing and wrestling.
The ASICS JB Elite 3 offers a Serra dial traction pods. This feature provides flexibility and maximum grip to prevent slip from occurring.

Another key feature is its breathable fabric which provides exceptional comfort during long hours of training.
Although the shoes have laces, it is sleek and could be concealed and meet tournament standards if you ever used them for amateur matches.
Buyer’s guide
There are several factors to consider in choosing the right boxing shoes that suit your preferences.
The summary of these factors are as follows—
- Quality
- Grip
- Weight
- Materials used
- Ankle support
- Balance
- Comfort
Now, I will discuss them briefly to help you in your future purchases—
Quality
In my opinion, it would be ideal to stick with reputable brands to ensure the quality of the shoes you’re wearing.
It includes brands like Puma, Adidas, Reebok, Ringside, Cleto Reyes, Ringside, to name a few.
Grip
The grip is one of the most important thing to look at. A shoe with a strong grip prevents the likelihood of a slip from happening.
Weight
The weight of the shoes is really up to you.
But remember that shoes with less weight are lighter, which allows you to move more quickly.
On the other hand, heavier shoes offer more protection.
Ankle support
Boxing requires a lot of movements. Therefore, your ankle will move a lot, as well.
The primary purpose of boxing shoes is to protect your ankles and feet as a whole.
There are three different types of boxing shoes—low cut, mid-cut, and high-cut. Which types of shoes you’ll be using depending on the type you are comfortable with.
Comfort
Lastly, comfort may depend on your personal preference—what people feel on one specific brand may differ from another.
